Another issue here is the choice of the hydroponic system, which can be active or passive. The nutrient solution is actively pumped in active systems so that the roots have solution available all the time. They are better than passive hydroponics gardening systems that just wet the roots without providing the same level of oxygen. Do choose the active variant even if it costs more, because results will be worthy of the investment.
